Confocal images of BYCV P0, P1, P1-2, or P3a proteins fused with YFP. RFP-H2B transgenic Nicotiana benthamiana leaves were infiltrated with Agrobacterium cultures to express P0-YFP (a), P1-YFP (b), P1-2-YFP (c), or P3a-YFP (d). Confocal images were taken 24, 48, and 72 h post infiltration (hpi). The YFP signal is shown in yellow. The nuclei of tobacco leaf epidermal cells are marked by RFP-H2B (red). This experiment was repeated three times independently, and more than 20 cells per sample were observed each time; representative results are shown; scale bars: 10 µm
