Identification of Pss van Hall effectors that inhibit PTI in N. benthamiana. Leaves of five-week-old N. benthamiana were infiltrated with Pst DC3000 D36E harboring the pPSE vector with GFP or different Pss van Hall effectors. Samples were collected 6 h later for RNA extraction and then qPCR using the PTI marker genes a Pti5 and b ACRE31, with ACTIN as an endogenous control. CK, samples without infection.
