Expression pattern of expanded and species-specific GPCR pathway related genes from Plasmodiophora brassicae. The expanded and species-specific GPCR pathway related genes show a specific expression pattern throughout growth and development of P. brassicae. For the expression values (Log2 (RPKM+ 1)), ranging from green (− 1.0) to red (1.0), a Pearson correlation was used for distance calculations. The red rectangles indicating expression pattern of these GPCR pathway related genes show a high level during germinating resting spore stage (GS) and cortical infection stage (IN) compared to the resting spore stage (RS)
