Expression analysis of rice defense-related genes in response to infection of PJ52 and UV_1261-silenced transformants. Rice spikelet samples inoculated with PJ52, T1, or T3 were collected at 5 and 9 dpi. Expression levels of OsNAC4, OsPR1#012, OsPR10b, and OsBETV1 were determined by RT-qPCR using rice OsUbi as the reference gene. Fold change was calculated by the comparative C_T method 2^–ΔΔCT using PJ52-inoculated samples as controls at indicated time points. Statistical analysis was performed with LSD method in SPSS Version 21. Different letters above the bars mean significant differences among datasets at each indicated time point (P < 0.05)
