The processes for wheat coleoptiles inoculation. In short, the bottom of the coleoptile of a 4-day-old wheat seedling was cut off. Next, the epidermis was removed using a sterile surgical blade and mounted on a glass slide. A drop of conidia suspension of F. graminearum was placed on the mounted coleoptile using a micropipette (0.5–10 μL), and incubated at 25 °C and 90% relative humidity for 1–2 days
