Effect of the ROS scavenger N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) on XopL-induced cell death. Agrobacterium strains harboring pHB-xopL or empty pHB were inoculated into the wild-type Nb leaves at OD600 = 1.0; NAC was co-infiltrated at a concentration of 2 mM. a Effect of NAC on XopL-induced ROS accumulation at 3 and 6 dpi.
