Suppression effects of Simplicillium aogashimaense exudates on developmental processes of Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici (Bgt) conidia in vitro. ng, non-germinated conidium; pgt, germinated conidium with only a primary germ tube; sgt, germinated conidium with an elongated secondary germ tube; agt, conidium with a swollen appressorial germ tube; app, conidium with a fully differentiated appressorium. Data are represented as mean ± standard deviation from five replicates (100 conidia each) of three independent biological experiments. The means were compared using one-way analysis of variance, followed by Tukey’s post-hoc test. Different letters indicate significant differences (P < 0.05)
