Each leaf image is representative of 15 leaves of 3 plants tested in 3 experimental replications. b Flg22-induced fold increases in foliar expression of rice PTI regulatory genes (MPK3 and MPK6) and rice PTI response genes (WRKY70, NHL10, PHI1-1, and GSL12). The expression levels of the PTI regulatory and response genes were determined at 1 and 24 h after treatment. The data shown are mean values ± SDs (n = 3).
