Local and systemic infection of SMV-YFP in susceptible soybean cultivar NN1138-2. a At 7 days post-inoculation (dpi), upper leaves of inoculated soybean cultivar NN1138-2 start to accumulate SMV-YFP, while the veins of the inoculated leaves start to show signs of viral movement. At 8 or 9 dpi, the upper leaves accumulated more virus, while the inoculated leaf shows a clear path of viral movement through the vein that near the inoculation site. The same leaves were continuously imaged at 7, 8, and 9 dpi.
